A long while ago, such as right after the earth came about, the pandicorns arrived. They had to abandon their planet Kotton Kandy. This planet was made up of different types of sugar and was highly unstable when it got too warm. The planet had never made a full orbit around its sun in the 2 billion years it had been in existence and so when it was nearing half its orbit, it got closer to its sun.  The planet began to shake quite harshly with crumbling quakes. The planet began to shift and melt like chocolate does when it gets warm. Therefore they had to abandon their planet very quickly. They flew for many years only landing on planets for roughly a day or two.
